  History:
The SKOT medium, wheeled, armored infantry carrier was designed in Czechoslovakia in 1961, though basic design was developed with a help of Polish engineers. The later variants received defensive armament among others. SKOTs were built in special variants, as mobile command posts, technical support cars and mines’ detection vehicles. They were in use with Polish and Czechoslovak armies only. SKOT 1 was the earliest series produced version, used for infantry’s transport and support. The transport area was occupied by sixteen soldiers. The crew consisted of driver and commander.
